Help Please!
 

I have a International Harvester 2733 2+2 Tractor no longer in production but runs great. I would be greatfull to any of you GIMers that could help me locate parts or a tractor junk/grave yard.....I'm also looking for owners and parts manuals at a reasonable price , that's the hard part they want an arm and a leg for manuals.

My plan is to sew red wheat or barley (I'll be making my own flour from it). The old guy that we share cropped with passed away 3 yrs ago the day after he worked the ground up here so it hasn't been planted in all that time...he was 89.

So I may just let it sit now that I've disked it and let it go to summer faugh then I'll disk it up and plant next year....not sure yet.

Any help from you folks would be most appreciated :15_1_70v:

Checked with Mr. Farmer when he got home. We use IH ourselves. Not sure where you are, so can't really help with parts, etc. A good place for you to check would be on another forum that we spend time on. There are a lot of good people on AgOnline that could probably help you... go to http://www.agriculture.com. Click on talk. That will give you different forums, you want machinery talk. I'm sure the good folks there can help you.

Also, you can go to http://www.bigyellow.com and put in farm machinery and your state. This will give you different categories... you should find what you are looking for.

Are you positive that it is a 2733? We haven't heard of that one... could it be a 3788 with the stickers coming off? Not that I would doubt you, just want to make sure you are looking for the right thing. It happens to the best of us. Check under the cab on the right side of the rear end ahead of the rear axel... this is where you should find the make/model/serial number. This may help you.
